Merlot has been grown in our region for around a century and the favourable soil and climate conditions in the countryside give this great wine its characteristics. Rich in colour, with an aroma of currants and blackberries, it becomes more refined as it ages. Cabernet comes from the historical estate of Castel Pietra. It is a wine with great personality, which as it ages becomes more refined and its characteristic grassy bouquet mellows.
Teroldego, cultivated exclusively in the Trento province, appears to have found its ideal habitat here. Bright ruby in colour, in taste it is reminiscent of raspberry and violet with fruity notes. The
Marzemino grapes come from Vallagarina and from the vineyards that spread from Aldeno to Nomi, and from these we obtain a classic wine. Ruby coloured, with an intense, fruity smell, Marzemino has a taste which is full, harmonious, full-bodied and ever-so-slightly, yet pleasantly, bitter.
Schiava Gentile is a vine cultivated in the dry and ventilated farms on the hills. The wine is a bright garnet colour tending towards rose, and the aroma contains notes of pansy and blackberry, it has an elegant and smooth taste.
Lagrein Rosato or
Dunkel is extremely vivacious and simpatico in colour, delicate and smooth flavoured when vinified as white wine, and dark ruby in colour and full-bodied and intense when traditionally vinified as red wine (dunkel).
